I’m a Geographer is a student-led enrichment activity. It connects school students with people using geography in their work, through live, text-based Chats.
It all happens online. It’s safe and secure. It’s free for state-maintained UK schools.
Take a look at the introductory video below about I’m a Geographer‘s sister project, I’m a Scientist, to find out more about how the activity works:

Match enrichment to your curriculum. Students take part in a geography-themed activity, connecting them with people working in a diverse range of roles in geography. The activity actively engages 89% of students.
Connect school students with geography outside the classroom, and help them discover geography-related careers. Take part from wherever you are – all you need is a web browser.
Zephy leads a team studying rivers, landscapes, and how to protect the environment 🌊🌿 She uses maps and data to help spot problems like pollution, and make sure our rivers stay healthy.
Zephy loves kayaking and hiking. Whether that’s near home in Cornwall or further afield (she’s even done the Inca Trail in Peru!), she enjoys exploring both physical and human geography right in front of her eyes.
